Cai Taylor

Community Health & Equity

Cai has a Masters' Degree in Child and Youth Care from Ryerson University. She has spent most of her adult life in some way giving back to marginalized communities. She served as President of their Youth Justice Committee at the Students Commission of Canada. This committee aimed to make change within the Government of Canada by giving youth a voice to discuss the transformations they wish to see in politics. 

Cai has also had the opportunity to teach grades one to eight students English, Science and History at an Islamic school for two years which helped her on her journey to use DEI to change the world. 

Cai focuses her time on working hard to increase her knowledge about social, political and community issues to create a better world for future generations. 

She aims to break barriers at her core, create safe spaces, and continuously learn/unlearn.
