Jada Brown

Jada has worked with children and youth for over 10 years in the community, school, clinical and home settings. She is currently an autism behavioural therapist and works in both individuals and group settings to facilitate therapy for children and youth with autism ages 2yrs - 21yrs.
Jada has a Masters's degree in Child and Youth Care. She has pursued an interest in research related to Adultification bias and Black girls in school. She explores the experiences of Black girls in schools and how they are often criminalized and pushed out of public systems.
Jada has joined the BCAN team to focus more on system change and dismantling anti-Black racism while advocating for the Black community by providing culturally relevant resources and supports.
