Zsofia Agoston

Since graduating from Western University in 2019, Zsofia has solidified her academic experience working for non-for-profits, cultural institutions, and social enterprises in Toronto and London, Ontario. She completed an Honours Specialization in Anthropology and Major in Museum and Curatorial Studies, specializing in sociocultural anthropology, research design, and arts management. As a Latina, Zsofia joins BCAN as a committed ally to aid in change-making collaborations for the Black community in Peel. She merges her expertise in web and social media design to facilitate BCAN’s multi-sectored collaborations and community-led initiatives.

Zsofia is currently completing her Masters of Sociocultural Anthropology at Western University, focusing on Difficult Knowledge, Education Policy, and Learning Ecologies in Canada and Ontario.
